Maximally AI Shipathon is a 48-hour global hackathon where you don’t need to be a coder, genius, or “AI expert” to join. It’s for anyone who’s curious, chaotic, or creative — and wants to build something real with AI.
It’s fast. It’s friendly. It’s a little messy.
But you’ll leave with a project, new people, and a ton of momentum.
Whether you build solo or with a team, this is your chance to explore, experiment, and ship — without the usual pressure.

Requirements
This hackathon is your playground. You're not here to impress some panel in suits — you're here to explore what AI can do, collaborate with others, and ship something real.
You can build things that live on websites, inside apps, or even on decentralized networks. Keep it simple, weird, useful, or all three.
Here are some ideas across our 3 core vibes:
🛠️ Build with AIAI-powered tools, agents, or assistants
Chrome extensions, web apps, or automations
GPT-based workflows or chatbots
Productivity hacks, daily tools, or startup MVPs
Apps that interact with wallets, smart contracts, or on-chain data
🎨 Create with AIMusic, visuals, or videos generated using AI
Branded content, memes, storytelling experiments
Podcast snippets, voiceovers, or remix tools
Design kits, art drops, or identity experiments
Generative art collections or interactive digital pieces
🧪 Experiment with AIPrompt hacks and strange simulations
AI pranks or absurd ideas that surprisingly work
Weird tools that serve no purpose but are cool anyway
Autonomous agents doing things online (or on-chain)
Something nobody’s built before, even if it half-breaks
There are no wrong answers here. You can build solo or with a team. Use code, no-code, or pure prompt magic.
Just make sure it’s yours — and make it during the event.
📦 What to SubmitEvery submission must be made through Devpost before the deadline (Sept 1, 12:00 AM IST).
You’ll need to include:

What you built
Why AI was used
How it works / how you built it
Optional: tools/tech you used, and what surprised you

Best Emerging Venture Potential
Recognizing the project with the strongest potential to evolve into a viable startup with clear user value.
This award highlights the project that goes beyond being a hackathon prototype and shows the foundation of a sustainable venture. The winning team demonstrates a strong understanding of market needs, a compelling solution that addresses those needs, and the early signs of product-market fit. Judges look for projects that balance technical execution with clarity of vision, user-centered design, and a credible path to scaling.
The award signals to future investors, collaborators, and employers that the team behind this project has built something that stands out not only for its innovation but also for its real-world applicability and potential impact.
Excellence in Applied AI for Public Good
Recognizing the project that applies artificial intelligence to create tangible benefits for society, addressing pressing civic, environmental, or community needs.
This award honors a team whose work goes beyond technical achievement to demonstrate clear social impact. The winning project shows how AI can be used responsibly and creatively to improve lives — whether through healthcare, education, accessibility, sustainability, or civic solutions.
Judges evaluate projects based on clarity of the problem addressed, the relevance and scale of its potential impact, and the feasibility of implementation in real-world settings. The award highlights teams that treat technology not only as a tool for innovation but also as a vehicle for responsibility and positive change.
Winning this category signals to partners, institutions, and employers that the project embodies both technical competence and a strong ethical commitment to making a difference in society.
Most Viral Project
Recognizing the project that captured the most attention across online communities, social platforms, and hacker networks. This award goes to the team whose work sparked conversation, sharing, and engagement far beyond the hackathon. The winning project is judged not just on technical merit but on its ability to resonate with audiences, inspire curiosity, and spread organically. Metrics include reach, reactions, and creative ways the team amplified their idea online. This category highlights the role of storytelling, design, and cultural timing in making a project memorable and widely shared. Winning here signals that the project didn’t just exist—it connected with people at scale.
